PEH believes very strongly in helping you truly love your home. It’s not ‘just’ our hashtag, it is the mission of our company. We are probably not a good fit for you if you prefer your rooms to feel over designed or reminiscent of Page 5 of a major retailer. Do hire us however, if you’d like layered, eclectic spaces. We excel at blending your heritage family pieces with new pieces to create truly authentic spaces that feel good to you and elevate your day to day lifestyle.

We are a niche company that focuses on approachable residential design and renovation with project management. Often times, you will hire a contractor to renovate your spaces but they may not have a designer on their team to help with endless decisions that need to be made. We are excellent project managers (another service most smaller contractors don’t offer so the onus falls to you to manage all the moving pieces).  At PEH, we are collectors of people  and have a deep bench of vetted and talented tradespeople for every aspect of a project (both interior and exterior). We share those contacts with our clients and alleviate the burden of scouring the internet for appropriate vendors and trades. That said, we are also happy to work with your contractor of choice.

We are not general contractors. However, we know some! And if you have your own chosen contractor, we are happy to work with them. We have completed unfinished basement renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and mudrooms. In these instances we are project managers securing bids, ensuring that all trades are booked, supervised and coordinated. However, these tradespeople work independently of Pink Elephant Home and are our design referral partners rather than our employees.

Full service interior design is a turn key service that shifts all the work {stress} to us. From concept to completion, we take care of the entire process - culminating in the big reveal.

We do! If you do not need full service, we also offer à la carte services for smaller projects such as wallpaper, paint, or window treatments. We offer DOD {Designer on Demand} which is consulting only and perfect if you need help selecting finishes, flooring, or maybe have a DIY project and just need professional advice here and there. Lastly, our favorite service is STYLING DAY which is actually the very last step in our full-service design process. We offer this transformational one-day service as a stand-alone service for those wishing to refresh their spaces.

We structure our process and fees into phases throughout the project. We offer hourly rates, flat fee or a hybrid, all depending on your particular project. To get a more comprehensive quote, schedule your complimentary design consultation so we can learn more about you and your project.

The benchmark of our process is collaboration. Even if you hire us for full-service design, we still include you in the creative process. We are not stuffy, intimidating, or pushy. We are creative doers that thrive when we can work side by side with clients who trust us and don’t micromanage us--after all, the reason for hiring a professional is to release the reins and trust in the process. Design is not at all what you see on HGTV; it can be highly stressful and absolutely every single project has a hiccup. We are a boutique company. To ensure the highest level of service, we keep our full-service project pipeline to 5 projects at a time. We keep our renovation projects that require project management to only 2-3 per year. 

So many variables come into play when figuring out a time frame for a project. Early in the process, we develop a detailed scope of work for the project and the timeline flows from that.

No. We provide a complimentary Discovery Call to begin the process of possibly working together. During the 15 minute call, you can tell us about your project, share your vision and ask any questions regarding our process. However, our on-site consultation is paid. Unlike other services, designers are providing valuable intellectual property at every meeting. The creative capital, design ideas, and actionable solutions that spring from a design consultation are worth every penny of your investment in your home. If we didn’t charge for this time, we would be less inclined to ‘free flow’ and share ideas; that would be stifling for us and unproductive time for you. Our current Springboard Consultation fee is $425 and is required for all projects except Design On Demand.

It is a comprehensive audit of your home that is designed to translate your design goals into an actionable plan for all your unfinished projects. We review your space and its potential, help clarify your lifestyle needs, inventory your existing furniture and integrate new pieces. The consultation lasts 2 hours on-site and we include both interior and exterior if that’s desired. Design work will not be completed during the consultation but a detailed written summary & checklist will be provided that will serve as a roadmap for executing projects.We call the initial consultation a Springboard Consultation because it is designed to spring you into action.
